Your institution, inside the AI tools your clients already use

Paywhere's FinovateFall 2026 demo, start to finish

Your commercial clients are already working in Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini. The question is whether their financial institution shows up there too.

At FinovateFall 2026 in New York, Brett Vasconcellos and Nick Lazo showed what that looks like. A small business opens Claude, checks its balances and asks the assistant to pay its bills. The assistant stages three payments totaling $10,900: one wire, two ACH. Nothing moves until the client approves the batch on the institution's own confirmation page.

The demo runs six minutes. Here is what it covers.

Discoverable by name. Paywhere connects your bank or credit union’s existing systems to the major AI ecosystems. Your institution appears in the connector directory alongside services like QuickBooks, Stripe and PayPal, and clients work with their accounts in plain language.

Approval stays with the institution. The assistant can read accounts and stage payments. It cannot move money on its own. Your FI sets higher limits for payments a person is actively approving and lower limits for anything an unattended agent initiates.

Visibility into every agent. The Paywhere admin view shows which AI agents are calling and why, with intents like payroll, cash flow management and accounts payable. That tells your institution how clients actually use AI with their accounts, and how to price and package what you offer.
